In my journeys in nature, I focus my eye toward the small hidden treasures that surprise me with their tiny, elegant beauty.

Whether it is a mushroom, a piece of lichen, a perfectly smooth stone, moss spore cases, or a hummingbird feather, my imagination is sparked.

My art is about celebrating this tiny, elegant beauty in nature. There is beauty everywhere, sometimes in hidden and unexpected places. The interplay of color, light, and shadow sparks feelings of inspiration and joy. I work to share the lightness of spirit that connecting with nature brings.

My favorite media are watercolor, ink, and gouache, as well as beads, gourds, fiber, and macro photography.
